Neuquén approves new building for special education institute

The Neuquén Province has officially awarded the construction contract for a new building for the Instituto de Formación Docente (IFD) Nº 4. This project marks the end of a 50-year wait for the institution, which specializes in training special education teachers.

Governor Rolando Figueroa signed the decree for the project, which involves an investment exceeding 6.25 billion pesos. The new facility will span 2,380 square meters and is scheduled for completion within 450 days. The site is located on a 127-hectare plot and is designed to meet the specific pedagogical and social needs of the current 250 students and faculty.
