Neuquén becomes a key tourism market for Buenos Aires
Neuquén has emerged as a primary tourism market for the City of Buenos Aires, ranking among the top ten origins for travelers staying in the capital's hotels. Officials from the Buenos Aires Tourism Board recently met with industry leaders in Neuquén to present the capital's annual agenda, which includes gastronomic, cultural, and major event offerings.
Air connectivity serves as a major driver for this relationship, with over 1.3 million passengers traveling between the two locations via 9,588 flights in a single year. Beyond leisure travel, the growth of the Vaca Muerta hydrocarbon activity has significantly increased corporate travel, including business meetings and industry events, further strengthening the economic link between the two regions.
