Neuquén educators to discuss affectivity and emotional education

The Provincial Council of Education (CPE) has organized a seminar titled ‘¿Gestionar emociones o alojar sentires? El lugar de la afectividad en la escuela’ (To manage emotions or to host feelings? The place of affectivity in school). Led by specialist Liliana Maltz and moderated by Paula Ghione, the event is scheduled for Friday, October 2, at the CPE auditorium.

The discussion aims to provide a space for teachers across all educational levels to reflect on the role of affectivity in schools. The seminar addresses the tension between individual behavioral control and the collective understanding of rights and relationships, particularly in light of legislative projects seeking to implement Emotional Education. The approach emphasizes affectivity as a dimension shaped by social contexts and interpersonal bonds rather than a tool for individual self-control.
