Neuquén investigates delays at Dr. Horacio Heller Hospital

The Neuquén Ministry of Health has launched an administrative investigation into the Dr. Horacio Heller Hospital following delays in treating a patient from Las Perlas, Río Negro. The investigation aims to determine the causes of the reception difficulties and immediately correct care protocols to prevent future occurrences.

The Ministry noted that the public health system in Neuquén is facing high demand, partly due to a constant influx of patients from neighboring provinces, including those with private insurance. Health authorities have called on Río Negro officials to establish better coordination to ensure patient safety during inter-provincial transfers.
