Neuquén Judiciary reorganizes into seven territorial districts

The Neuquén Judiciary has implemented a new territorial organization, expanding from five to seven judicial districts. This reform, enacted through Law 3480 and promoted by Governor Rolando Figueroa, aims to optimize resources and bring public services closer to citizens.

The new districts include Alto Neuquén (Chos Malal), Del Pehuén (Zapala), De los Lagos del Sur (Junín de los Andes), Del Limay, De la Comarca (Cutral Co), Confluencia (Neuquén capital), and the newly created Vaca Muerta district (Rincón de los Sauces).

This reorganization follows the recent implementation of the new Adversarial Civil Procedural Code, which transitioned the province to an oral and digital system. The provincial legislature is also currently debating a new Family Procedural Code to modernize processes involving children and adolescents.
