Buenos Aires judicial workers accept 6% salary increase

The Asociación Judicial Bonaerense (AJB) has accepted a salary proposal from the government of Buenos Aires province. The agreement, approved by a large majority in departmental assemblies, provides for a 6% increase split into two installments of 3% each. These increments are calculated based on September 2026 salaries and will be applied to October and November payrolls, with the full amount to be paid in December.

With this adjustment, the accumulated increase through November will reach 26% for subcategory F, with higher percentages for more senior staff, reaching up to 38.9% for category A1. The provincial administration has committed to reopening negotiations in December to address ongoing economic conditions.

Due to the timing of the agreement, retirees and pensioners under the Instituto de Previsión Social (IPS) will receive both tranches of the increase together with their November earnings in December.
