Neuquén Police use TASER 10 for first time during arrest

The Neuquén Police utilized a TASER 10 for the first time during a law enforcement operation in the vicinity of Racedo and Pirker streets. The incident began when urban monitoring systems detected a man acting threateningly while appearing to carry a knife.

Officers from the 16th Precinct responded to the scene and confirmed the individual was armed with a sharp object. After the man ignored repeated orders to drop the weapon, police fired warning shots from a shotgun to prevent violence. During the intervention, a second man emerged from a building and attempted to attack officers by throwing heavy objects and shouting insults.

Following established protocols, officers used proportional force, including the TASER 10 device, to subdue both individuals. The entire procedure was recorded via body cameras to ensure traceability. Both men received medical assistance before being transferred to the 16th Precinct, where they were detained for assault and resisting authority.
