Neuquén prepares to host Davis Cup series between Argentina and Turkey

Neuquén is preparing to host the Davis Cup series between Argentina and Turkey at the Ruca Che Stadium on September 19 and 20. In anticipation of the event, the Argentine Tennis Association (AAT), the Neuquén Tennis Federation, and local government authorities have launched a two-week program of free clinics, training sessions, and campuses designed to develop local tennis talent.

Gastón Brum, executive director of the AAT, highlighted the logistical challenges of hosting an international competition outside of Buenos Aires. The event is expected to have a significant economic impact, with local hotels anticipating 100% occupancy and a focus on utilizing local suppliers. The Ruca Che Stadium is currently undergoing transformations to meet international standards, aiming to leave a lasting infrastructure for future sporting events in the province.
