Neuquén Province expands local health services with kinesiology clinic and mental‑health day center

The Neuquén provincial social security institute (ISSN) and the provincial Ministry of Health have opened a new kinesiology and physiotherapy service in Bajada del Agrio. The clinic, located in the Doraliza Saez Hospital, will allow residents to receive treatment locally, reducing referrals to Zapala and eliminating the need for travel during therapy.

In San Patricio del Chañar, construction has begun on a 75 m² Day Center for Mental Health. Funded with provincial resources and built by the municipality, the center is slated for completion in 180 days and will offer group therapy rooms, accessible facilities, and a reception area to strengthen community‑based mental‑health care in the rapidly growing area.
