Neuquén to host Provincial Physical Education and Sports Congress

The city of Neuquén will host the Second Provincial Congress of Physical Education at the DUAM space on November 4 and 5. Organized by the Ministry and the Provincial Council of Education (CPE), the event operates under the theme “Debates actuales para horizontes posibles” (Current debates for possible horizons) and will offer professional teaching credits.

The congress features a diverse agenda of theoretical and practical sessions led by specialists. Key topics include gender and sexuality in sports, inclusive teaching perspectives, and physical education in relation to childhood citizenship. Other sessions will cover expressive bodily practices, risk prevention and teacher responsibility, and the “Movitransfer Method.”

In a related initiative, the Seventh Provincial Congress of Physical Activity, Sport, and Recreation in Healthy Environments is also being held at the DUAM space. This program focuses on promoting healthy and inclusive environments, specifically addressing the rights of people with disabilities, adapted school swimming, and nutrition in chronic non-communicable diseases.
