NEURA Robotics acquires Bosch logistics robots as SpaceX updates Grok AI

NEURA Robotics has reached an agreement to acquire the ACTIVE Shuttle, an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) system, from Bosch Rexroth. Effective October 1, 2026, the Metzinger-based robotics company will take over both the hardware and software of the intralogistics system through its unit, NEURA Mobile Robots GmbH.

The ACTIVE Shuttle is designed for material transport in factories and warehouses, capable of lifting loads up to 260 kilograms using an integrated platform. The system utilizes laser and 3D obstacle detection for navigation and is compatible with the VDA 5050 interface, allowing it to operate alongside vehicles from other manufacturers.

In a separate development in the artificial intelligence sector, SpaceX's AI division has released Grok 4.6. The model is a post-training upgrade of Grok 4.5, focusing on agentic capabilities for tasks such as research, coding, and visual projects. According to the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, Grok 4.6 scored 61 points, placing it in competition with major frontier models from OpenAI and Anthropic, though it trails slightly in specific coding benchmarks.
