Neura Robotics acquires cleaning automation firm Adlatus Robotics

Neura Mobile Robots GmbH has acquired 100 percent of the shares of Adlatus Robotics, an Ulm-based provider of autonomous cleaning and sweeping robots. The acquisition aims to integrate Adlatus’s existing fleet of hundreds of systems and its proprietary navigation software into Neura’s broader physical AI ecosystem.

Neura Robotics intends to upgrade Adlatus systems with advanced sensor technology and AI capabilities, eventually connecting them to the ‘Neuraverse’ platform. This integration is designed to transform specialized cleaning devices into intelligent agents capable of recognizing surfaces, interpreting environments, and selecting appropriate cleaning strategies rather than merely following predetermined routes.

This move follows Neura’s recent addition of Bosch Rexroth’s Active Shuttle to its portfolio. CEO David Reger stated that the goal is to provide machines with a ‘new brain,’ leveraging physical AI to transform the global cleaning labor market.
