NEURA Robotics and SECO partner to scale Physical AI in Europe

German robotics company NEURA Robotics and Italian embedded computing specialist SECO S. p. A. have announced a strategic partnership to industrialize and scale Physical AI within Europe. The collaboration focuses on the design, engineering, and manufacturing of electronic compute modules for NEURA’s cognitive robots, including its 4NE1 humanoid model.

These modules will integrate Qualcomm Technologies’ Dragonwing processors to support NEURA’s ‘Brain + Nervous System’ architecture. This decentralized approach, known as the ‘Smart Limb’ concept, distributes sensing and processing capabilities throughout the robot’s joints and sensors to enable real-time decision-making and reduced latency.

The partnership also includes plans to establish a NEURA Gym in Italy, which will serve as a training hub for collecting industrial data. This data will be used to develop Physical AI automation solutions specifically for the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing sectors, with the goal of creating technologies that can be deployed globally.
