Neuro University Summit 2026 to feature live neurosurgery in São Paulo

The Neuro University Summit 2026 is scheduled to take place on October 16 and 17 in São Paulo, Brazil. The scientific meeting will gather medical students, neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuropediatricians, and neuroscientists to discuss various aspects of brain health, including the impact of sleep, exercise, and behavior.

A primary highlight of the event is the live broadcast of a complex neurosurgery. During this session, specialists will provide commentary to allow participants to observe clinical reasoning, technical execution, and real-time decision-making processes. The program also includes lectures and case presentations on topics such as cerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), cavernomas, central nervous system tumors, epilepsy, and cerebral vascular surgery.

Professor Feres Chaddad, founder of Neuro University and the summit's organizer, emphasized that constant updating and the exchange of experiences are vital for professional evolution in neurosurgery. Dr. Chaddad holds leadership positions at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) and Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo.
