Neurodivergence support initiatives launch in Recife and Rio de Janeiro

Various initiatives in Brazil are providing support for families and individuals living with neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome.

In Recife, the TEAMANHÃ project is hosting a special edition at Parque Santana to support caregivers of neurodivergent children and adolescents. The event offers free legal, psychological, and occupational therapy services, as well as inclusive recreational activities. The initiative aims to strengthen support networks for families facing the daily challenges of neurodivergence.

In Rio de Janeiro, author and social entrepreneur David Mariano is donating 100% of the proceeds from his book, "Liderança Que Faz Bem," to two local institutions: Instituto Alice and Associação Beneficente Esperança. These organizations provide essential services, such as neurological rehabilitation for children, to families navigating difficulties like diagnostic waitlists and a lack of inclusive educational and professional opportunities.
