Neurological health events scheduled across Italy

Various health initiatives focusing on neurological conditions are scheduled across Italy for September.

In the Chieti and Fossacesia regions, two days of events dedicated to Parkinson's disease will take place on September 10 and 11. The first session at the University of G. d'Annunzio will host international clinicians and researchers to discuss advanced therapies, neuromodulation, and emerging diagnostic technologies, including the use of artificial intelligence and wearable sensors. The second day features the PARKIthlon in Fossacesia Marina, a physical activity event involving swimming, cycling, and walking designed for patients, caregivers, and families.

In the Brianza area, ATS Brianza and local partners are organizing a series of meetings to support families dealing with dementia. Scheduled for September 11 in Primaluna and September 18 in Introbio, these sessions will cover topics such as brain function during cognitive decline, home management strategies, social service networks, and legal support regarding administration for those affected by dementia.
