Neurology specialists host health awareness sessions in Spain and Argentina
Medical professionals in Spain and Argentina are conducting educational initiatives focused on neurological health and disease prevention.
In Cádiz, Spain, the Asociación Párkinson Bahía de Cádiz held a successful seminar titled ‘Neurology Consultation: How to Prepare and Make the Most of It’. Led by Dr. Miguel Ángel Moya, medical director of the Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar, the session provided patients and families with practical tools to communicate symptoms and observations effectively to specialists.
In Chascomús, Argentina, Dr. Raúl Rey, a neurology professor at the University of Buenos Aires, is scheduled to present a lecture on stroke prevention at the Club Atlético Chascomús. The event coincides with World Stroke Day. The presentation will cover clinical risk factors such as hypertension and diabetes, as well as emergency recognition protocols, including facial symmetry and coordination tests, to facilitate immediate medical intervention.
