Octavio Nassur, CEO of the Sociedade Brasileira de Programação Neurolinguística, presented a panel discussing how emotions and behavior influence career decisions, noting that 85% of lawyers' professional success is attributed to strong communication skills.

Disruptions such as artificial intelligence, social media, and the COVID-19 pandemic have altered communication dynamics. Experts emphasized that effective oratory is about thinking clearly and understanding the context of communication—knowing what, why, to whom, how, and when to speak.

Beyond technical knowledge, emotional intelligence—specifically self-awareness and social perception—is essential for managing pressure, resolving conflicts, and making informed decisions.
