Neurosis to perform at Roadburn festival in 2027

The post-metal band Neurosis has announced they will perform two special sets at the Roadburn festival in Tilburg, Netherlands, in April 2027. This marks the group's return to Europe following their first live performance in seven years at the Fire In The Mountains festival in Montana.

The band's recent activity follows the surprise release of their first full-length album in ten years, ‘An Undying Love For A Burning World’. This new era features Aaron Turner (formerly of Isis and Sumac) on guitar and vocals, joining existing members Steve Von Till, Jason Roeder, and Dave Edwardson.

Steve Von Till described Roadburn as a unique environment where the music feels at home due to the close connection between the artists and the audience. The festival organizers expressed a similar sentiment, noting the enduring bond between the band and the event despite the years passed since Neurosis last appeared on a Roadburn lineup.
