Neurosurgeon Li Wei-yu to join Asia University Hospital

Renowned neurosurgeon Li Wei-yu has announced his new professional destination following a contract dispute with Lee General Hospital, where he had practiced for 30 years. After his contract was not renewed, Li expressed disappointment, stating that his lifelong dedication to the institution was unacknowledged.

Li has confirmed he will join Asia University Hospital, specifically the Fengyuan Branch. To ensure continuity of care for his patients during the transition, he will provide consultations at the Fengzhong and Wufeng branches from September through December until the Fengyuan facility is fully operational.

In a social media post, Li shared that he sought guidance at the Dajia Zhenlan Temple, receiving an auspicious omen that symbolized a bright future ahead. He expressed gratitude to his patients and colleagues for their continued trust during this period of professional change.
