Neustadt an der Waldnaab sets framework for local festivals and markets

The cultural committee of Neustadt an der Waldnaab has established the framework for upcoming local events and long-term festivities. Following the recent Bürgerfest, which involved 33 associations and generated 3,050 euros in revenue, the city has already begun preparations for the next Bürgerfest scheduled for July 17, 2027. The brewery Scheuerer in Moosbach has been selected as the most economical bidder to supply beer for the event.

Regarding the children's activity program, the committee approved a price increase for the 'Spielebogen' to three euros per unit. Additionally, the town is preparing for the upcoming Erntedankmarkt on October 4, which expects approximately 40 vendors offering regional products.
