Nevada man accused of killing girlfriend and two children

Juan Orona, 29, is accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend and her two children in a Las Vegas apartment on September 1. The victims have been identified as 41-year-old Nohani Flores-Osuna, her 16-year-old daughter, Maiya Deleon Flores, and her 7-year-old son, Noah Morales Flores.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Orona called authorities to surrender after the incident. Investigators report that the confrontation began after Orona confronted Flores-Osuna regarding suspected infidelity. Orona allegedly told detectives that he “blacked out” during the incident after Flores-Osuna admitted to a sexual relationship with her ex-boyfriend and stated the former partner was “better in bed.”

Police found 10 nine-millimeter shell casings at the scene on O’Bannon Drive. Orona faces charges of murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm within an occupied structure. He remains in custody without bail.
