Nevşehir Cultural Route Festival Highlights Cappadocia Heritage and Poizi Concert

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s Nevşehir Cultural Route Festival continued its program in Cappadocia with a series of events showcasing the region’s historic and artistic legacy. On the second day, emerging artist Poizi performed at the Göreme Festival Area, drawing large crowds of local residents and tourists who sang along to hits such as “Yapar Mısın” and displayed supportive banners.

The fourth day shifted focus to cultural workshops and discussions. Visitors took part in a pottery workshop at Kapadokya University’s Urgup campus, learning traditional Anatolian techniques. A talk titled “Sayfaların Gücü” was led by author Behçet Alkan, exploring the impact of reading on personal and societal development. The day also featured exhibitions of Nevşehir’s heritage, short‑film screenings of traditional arts, and displays of ceramics, tiles, ebru, carpet weaving, stone carving, and mother‑of‑pearl work.
