Nevşehir leaders advance regional development and education projects

Local leaders in Nevşehir are advancing various development initiatives focused on education, infrastructure, and industrial growth. Mustafa Ertaş, a candidate for the Nevşehir Chamber of Industry (NTSO) presidency, has proposed a Special Vocational High School project. This initiative aims to address the shortage of qualified personnel in the local industrial sector by providing training in fields such as machine technology, industrial automation, software, and logistics. The model intends to integrate education with production by offering students practical internships within the Organized Industrial Zone.

Simultaneously, Nevşehir Mayor Rasim Arı conducted meetings in Ankara to secure investments and resources for the city. His discussions included budget and financial resource planning with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, as well as addressing digital infrastructure needs with Türk Telekom to strengthen the city’s fiber optic network. Arı also met with officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports to discuss the development of youth centers and new sports facilities in the region.
