Nevşehir Provincial General Assembly approves major vehicle procurement and property transfers
The Nevşehir Provincial General Assembly has announced several key decisions from its September 2026 meeting regarding infrastructure, vehicle procurement, and property transfers.
To enhance service capacity, the Assembly approved borrowing 119,105,218.56 Turkish Lira from İller Bankası to purchase various vehicles and heavy machinery, including six trucks, an asphalt paver, two rollers, three minibuses, three pickups, a fuel tanker, and six trailers. Additionally, a 4x4 search and rescue vehicle will be purchased for AFAD with a 2 million Lira allocation. Some equipment, such as a garbage collector and a tracked excavator, will be acquired through grants from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
In terms of property management, the Assembly decided to transfer 74 real estate assets and one garbage truck to the Mustafapaşa Municipality. Furthermore, a 2007 model dump truck will be sold to the Yazıhüyük Municipality for 700,000 Lira.
The Assembly also addressed the impact of increasing tourism, trade, and agricultural investments in village settlements. It was proposed that infrastructure capacity must be carefully evaluated when reviewing planning and license applications for facilities such as hotels, pensions, manufacturing plants, and large livestock farms.
