Nevşehir to host inaugural GastroFest to promote regional cuisine

Nevşehir is preparing to host the inaugural Nevşehir GastroFest from September 16 to 20 at Cappa Arena. Organized in collaboration with the Nevşehir Municipality and the Turkey Gastronomy Federation (TUGAFED), the five-day event aims to promote the region's rich culinary culture to national and international audiences.

The festival will feature local traditional dishes, workshops, and cooking competitions. More than 30 international chefs are expected to attend, serving as jury members for culinary contests. The event will also include presentations from gastronomy experts, academics, and social media content creators to highlight the historical and regional flavors of Cappadocia.
