Nevşehir, Turkey schedules planned power outages across several neighborhoods

Local authorities in Nevşehir Province announced scheduled electricity interruptions to carry out infrastructure upgrades. In Acıgöl district, the Upper Mahallesi area on Şehitler Street will lose power from 13:45 to 15:00, while Bahçeli Mahallesi’s Avşar Street will be affected from 15:30 to 17:30. In Derinkuyu, the Kuyulutatlar village will experience a cut from 10:00 to 13:00 and Güneyce village from 10:00 to 12:00. The central town of Nevşehir will have an outage in the Çat sub‑district’s 15 July Mahallesi from 13:30 to 15:00, and Uçhisar’s Upper Mahallesi will be without electricity from 09:30 to 12:30. Officials warned that the timings could shift and urged residents to protect appliances such as refrigerators, boilers and modems, and to adjust work and daily plans accordingly. Power is expected to be restored after the completion of the works.
