Neverness to Everness announces Akane Rin release for version 1.4

The video game Neverness to Everness (NTE) is launching the second half of its version 1.4 update, titled ‘For Whom the Verses Mourn’, on October 21, 2026. The update introduces Akane Rin, a new S-class Lakshana Main DPS character.

Akane Rin will be available alongside her signature Arc, ‘Far Side of the Moon’. The character banner is scheduled to run from October 21 through November 11, 2026. This phase of the update will not include reruns of previous characters.

Several in-game events are scheduled to coincide with the update, including ‘Expand Tweet Snap!’, ‘Puka Lucky Flip’, ‘Blackbird’s Invitation’, and ‘Gold Clash’. Additionally, the ‘Beyond the Rails’ endgame mode will undergo a reset, and a new outfit for Akane Rin will be made available in the in-game shop.
