Nevzat Kuzu realizes childhood dream with kebab restaurant in Çorum

Nevzat Kuzu, a 48-year-old butcher from the Kargı district of Çorum, has successfully established a rural restaurant in Uzunyurt village to serve the traditional 'sırık kebabı' (spit kebab).

Kuzu fulfilled a childhood dream he formed while herding animals in the village, opening his business in 2018 despite the risks of investing in a location on a low-traffic route. The establishment has gained significant popularity, attracting food enthusiasts from across Turkey, including visitors traveling from as far as İzmir specifically to taste the local specialty.
