New limited edition bourbon releases for 2026 have been detailed, including the Old Forester Birthday Bourbon and the Yellowstone Limited Edition.

Old Forester’s 2026 Birthday Bourbon is an 11-year-old expression produced at the Brown-Forman Distillery in Shively. Developed by Master Distiller Emeritus Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Caleb Trigo, the whiskey is bottled at 97 proof. Tasting notes indicate a profile featuring coconut, toasted bread, brown butter, and banana, with a finish of wood and dried mint.

Yellowstone Limited Edition 2026, the 11th in its annual series, is crafted by master distiller Stephen Beam at Limestone Branch Distillery. This expression blends 7-year-old and 14-year-old Kentucky straight bourbons that were finished in Ruby and Tawny Port casks. Bottled at 101 proof, the release is inspired by the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone National Park, utilizing the different cask finishes to represent the contrast between light and shadow.
