New AI playerbot modules released for World of Warcraft private servers

Two new AI-driven playerbot modules have been introduced for community-driven World of Warcraft server cores, aiming to create more populated and living game worlds.

LoA-Pandaria-Playerbots is a module for the Legends of Azeroth Pandaria 5.4.8 core. It features AI characters capable of questing, grouping, running dungeons, and participating in battlegrounds and arenas. The module includes class rotations for all Mists of Pandaria specializations and is designed for high performance, with benchmarks indicating that 1,000 bots require a median of only 2 milliseconds per world update.

TortoiseBots is a native C++ module designed for the Tortoise WoW 1.18.1 core. It utilizes a decoupled architecture where bot AI and combat strategies are managed entirely within the module, running as headless sessions. The bots are designed to simulate a realistic economy and progression; they level, quest, and trade without receiving artificial gold or gear handouts, aiming to provide a populated experience for solo players.
