New Alamein City begins trial operation of internal transport station

The New Alamein City Authority has commenced the trial operation of the first phase of the city's internal transport station. Spanning approximately 5,200 square meters, the facility includes an administrative building of 220 square meters, passenger waiting areas, and public restrooms.

The station is designed to accommodate 24 large buses across two specialized shelters and 18 cars across two additional shelters. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency of the transport system and enhance connectivity between residential, service, and vital areas within the city.

Simultaneously, final preparations are underway at the International Convention and Exhibition Center located in the Heritage City. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, stated that these developments support the city's urban, investment, and tourism growth. Mohamed Khalafallah, head of the New Alamein City Authority, inspected the site to ensure the facility is ready to host major upcoming international events and conferences.
