New Animated Movies and Anime Series Slated for 2026‑2027

Five animated feature films are scheduled for theatrical release in the second half of 2026. "Patrulha Canina: Uma Aventura Dino" (Paramount Pictures) opens on 13 August, followed by "A Ilha Esquecida" (DreamWorks) on 24 September, "O Gatola da Cartola" (Warner Bros.) on 5 November, "Enfeitiçadas: Bem‑vindos a Hexe" (Disney) on 26 November, and "O Bosque Selvagem" (LAIKA/Imagem Filmes) on 23 October.

In the anime arena, three high‑profile projects are set for 2027. Science SARU confirmed a third season of "Dandadan" for 2027, promising to adapt the extensive "Globalistas Espaciais" arc. Studio Trigger announced a second season of "Delicious in Dungeon" for October 2027, to stream exclusively on Netflix. Netflix will also debut a compact adaptation of "One Piece" – titled "The One Piece" – in February 2027, delivering seven episodes that cover the series' early Baratie arc.
