New art exhibitions launch featuring Fabrícia Gonçalves and Edu Monteiro

Several new art exhibitions are opening to the public. At Balneário Shopping, artist Fabrícia Gonçalves presents “É Preciso Florir” in the Balneário Experience exhibition room. The collection features paintings inspired by flowers that represent different stages and memories of the artist's life, focusing on themes of transformation and renewal.

In Rio de Janeiro, Galeria Movimento is inaugurating “Sono do Beija-Flor,” a solo exhibition by Edu Monteiro. The show includes approximately 16 new works, comprising sculptures, photographs, and a painting. Monteiro’s research explores the transformation of matter and human experience, featuring pieces developed during an artistic residency in Martinique that reflect on perspective and coloniality.
