New Balance and Grand Collection release new skate footwear

New Balance Numeric has released a new collaboration with Grand Collection, featuring the New Balance 770 and the New Balance 508. The collection focuses on a blend of skate functionality and a sophisticated, understated aesthetic.

The New Balance 770, originally a 1990s cross-training shoe, has been adapted for skateboarding using premium leather and brushed suede. The collection includes colorways in black and a dark forest green. The 508 model is a pro model for Brandon Westgate, utilizing a futsal-inspired sole that combines vulcanized board feel with cupsole protection.

This release follows a previous iteration of the 770 released in late 2025. The design philosophy emphasizes high-quality materials and clean silhouettes over loud graphics, aiming for a look that can transition from skate sessions to more formal settings.
