New Balance expands high-performance running shoe lineup

New Balance has expanded its high-performance running footwear lineup with the introduction of the SuperComp Elite v6 and the SuperComp Rebel.

The SuperComp Elite v6 is a racing shoe designed for maximum speed and aggression. It features a transition from FuelCell PEBA to a new Infinion foam, paired with a redesigned Energy Arc carbon plate. This model is lighter and stiffer than its predecessor, the Elite v5, weighing approximately 14g less.

The SuperComp Rebel is positioned as a high-tech training shoe, bridging the gap between the standard Rebel and the elite racing models. It utilizes Infinion foam and a Pebax plate rather than full carbon to provide a more flexible and less aggressive feel suitable for daily fast training and tempo runs. This model effectively replaces the SC Trainer in the brand's hierarchy.
