New Balance launches SuperComp Elite v6 and Rebel v1 running shoes

New Balance has introduced two new high-performance running shoes designed to work in tandem: the SuperComp Elite v6 for race days and the SuperComp Rebel v1 for training sessions.

The SuperComp Elite v6, released on August 6, is a marathon-focused racing shoe. It features a redesigned carbon fiber plate and utilizes Infinion foam, a lightweight material that allows the shoe to weigh approximately 190g (US men's size 9.5) while maintaining a 40mm heel stack. This model is engineered for maximum energy return and propulsion during competition.

The SuperComp Rebel v1, arriving on August 20, is designed for daily training and speed workouts. While it shares the same Infinion foam and construction principles as the Elite v6, it features a different geometry and a lower 4mm drop at the forefoot compared to the Elite's 8mm. It weighs approximately 218g for men and 174g for women.
