New Balance launches updated 2000 Sleek sneaker

New Balance has refreshed its Abzorb 2000 model with the 2000 Sleek, featuring a streamlined mesh base and a single‑layer outer shell that displays a dotted pattern and occasional mesh reveals. The sneaker is offered in two neutral colourways—light grey and all‑black—and will retain the brand’s signature Abzorb cushioning.

The design was first shown in April on the runway of Brazilian label Quadro Creations, where a yellow prototype generated attention. New Balance confirmed the model is now in production and slated for release in 2026, with price expectations around $170, though exact dates and retail details remain pending.
