New Balance reveals 990v7 Made in USA ‘Kool Grey’

New Balance has officially unveiled the 990v7 Made in USA, the seventh iteration of its iconic 990 series. The new model succeeds the 990v6 and maintains the silhouette's signature layered upper, chunky stacked midsole, and heritage design elements.

The debut colorway, titled ‘Kool Grey’, features a combination of light and dark grey suede paired with grey mesh. The design is accented by pastel details, including a ridged ‘N’ logo with pale blue filling and a soft yellow outline. These colors are also integrated into the midsole. Additional details include a leather tongue label, a red ‘v7’ tab on the lace loop, and a ‘Made in U.S.A.’ badge on the heel.

The New Balance 990v7 Made in USA ‘Kool Grey’ is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026, in unisex sizing through NewBalance.com and select retailers. The retail price has not yet been announced.
