New Balance to release Tyrese Maxey signature shoe in October 2026

New Balance has announced the retail launch of the Maxey V1, the first signature basketball shoe for two-time NBA All-Star Tyrese Maxey. The shoe is scheduled to release on October 2, 2026, initially in a black and blue colorway priced at $130.

Designed to support Maxey’s speed and agility, the model features FuelCell cushioning paired with a dual rail plate system to assist with propulsion and lateral stability. The design incorporates elements from New Balance lifestyle silhouettes, including wavy paneling and sculpted outriggers inspired by the 9060 model, and lacing details influenced by the 2002 model.

Maxey collaborated closely with the product team to ensure the shoe maintained a recognizable brand identity through its design language rather than relying solely on the “N” logo. Additional colorways are expected to be released throughout the 2026-27 NBA season.
