New Banjaluka‑Tivat and Tuzla‑Zurich flights expand Bosnia’s connectivity

Air Montenegro’s Banjaluka–Tivat route saw average load factors above 85 % during the summer, with some flights reaching 96 % capacity and ticket prices ranging from €107 to €293. Based on the strong demand, the airline is considering increasing the frequency to three flights per week for the 2027 season.

Swiss carrier Chair Airlines launched a direct Tuzla–Zurich service, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Seats start at about €75 and include one checked bag. Officials said the new link will raise Tuzla Airport’s passenger volumes, improve ties with the large Bosnian diaspora in Switzerland, and support regional tourism and investment.

Both routes reflect a broader effort to broaden Bosnia and Herzegovina’s air connections and attract more travelers and business to the region.
