New Beis Medrash behind 770 to open in Crown Heights

A new Beis Medrash located on Union Street, directly behind the 770 building, is nearing completion. The facility is scheduled to open before the upcoming Kinus Hashluchim, providing a dedicated space for shluchim, bachurim, and balabatim to engage in Torah learning.

The project is situated on the site of the historic Kollel building near the corner of Union Street and Kingston Avenue. Construction has accelerated recently to meet the opening deadline, with the new Zal expected to accommodate over 300 people.

This development is a collaborative effort involving Kollel Menachem, Machne Israel, Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, and Agudas Chassidei Chabad. The project serves as an initial step toward a broader vision for expanding the 770 premises and addressing the growing need for learning space in the area.
