New breakfast and coffee shops to open in Central Ohio

New dining establishments are preparing to open in Central Ohio. Beignets & Brew, a coffee and beignet shop founded in Destin, Florida, is expanding to Ohio with two upcoming locations in Westerville and Hilliard. The shops will offer made-to-order beignets, coffee, and various sweet and savory breakfast options.

In Columbus, The BeckFast Place is set to occupy the former Skillet space near German Village at 410 E. Whittier St. Owned by Becker Nezballa, the new breakfast and lunch spot will serve items such as breakfast burritos, bagel sandwiches, wraps, and salads, alongside espresso and coffee drinks. The restaurant aims to provide a neighborhood-diner atmosphere and is expected to open in the coming months.
