Two new character-themed merchandise series are scheduled for release in late October 2026 in Japan.
JR West will release the ‘Autumn Relaxing Series’ featuring ICOCA’s official character, Iko-chan, the platypus. The collection includes 14 items such as extra-large lying plushies, knit bags, pouches, stickers, and stationery. Sales will begin on October 29, 2026, at select JR West station shops and through the Train Box online store.
Munyugurumi Patio will launch the ‘Chococat Starry Sky Walk Series’ featuring the Sanrio character Chococat. The nine-item collection includes plush mascots, tote bags, acrylic stands, and various stationery items themed around night walks with stars and lanterns. Online sales start on October 30, 2026, followed by in-store availability on October 31, 2026, at locations including Laforet Harajuku and Shibuya Modi.
