New community and educational facilities open in the Netherlands

Several community facilities in the Netherlands have officially opened following renovations or new constructions.

In Staphorst, a new service center named ‘De Opstap’ has opened on Berkenlaan. The facility replaces a building from 1972 and is designed to facilitate social participation. The center features a large, accessible kitchen intended for workshops and communal cooking, including features for wheelchair users. It will host a wide range of activities, including blood donation, various games, hobby groups, and Red Cross services.

In Nieuw Heeten, Kindcentrum Sint Jozef has commenced operations in its renovated building. The center integrates childcare and education under a single team and management structure. While maintaining its characteristic facade, the interior has been modernized to provide bright learning and play spaces. The opening included a presentation of a new logo and educational demonstrations.
