New community markets launch in Yas Island and Al Mouj Muscat

A new community initiative called ‘The Market’ is scheduled to launch on November 29, 2026, at Mayan on Yas Island. Organized by TGYRE, the market aims to support local talent, small businesses, and sustainable shopping through various themed editions, including Christmas, Makers, Fashion Forward, and a Pet Adoption Festival.

In Oman, the Al Mouj Muscat Young Entrepreneur Market recently concluded, attracting 25,700 visitors over two evenings. The event featured 100 entrepreneurs aged 11 to 18 showcasing homemade food, beverages, accessories, and handcrafted products. Ahmed Al Massan, Acting CEO of Al Mouj Muscat, noted that providing such opportunities is an investment in the Sultanate’s future business leaders and economic diversification.
