New cooperative games Frog Sqwad and PEAK launch on consoles

Several cooperative multiplayer games are expanding to new platforms. Panic Stations, a British studio founded by former Fall Guys developers, will release Frog Sqwad on October 28, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. The game, priced at €7.99, features physics-based cooperative gameplay where up to eight players control frogs in sewers and marshes. A version 2.0 update will introduce crossplay functionality for existing PC, Xbox Series, and upcoming console versions.

Additionally, the climbing game PEAK, developed by Aggro Crab and Landfall, is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 as of October 22, 2026. The title has implemented crossplay across all platforms. With its version 3.0 update, the game has significantly expanded its content, increasing the number of available mountain maps from 30 to 208 to ensure a continuous rotation of daily challenges without requiring constant developer intervention.
