New Croatian Religious Books: Zagreb Bible Editions and Children's Rosary Picture Book

The Catholic publishing house Kršćanska sadašnjost has issued four new deluxe editions of the Zagreb Bible, the most widely used Croatian translation of the Scriptures. The volumes are produced in hard cover with gold stamping and are available in white, dark‑blue, red and black, targeting personal libraries, sacramental gifts and commemorative occasions.

A picture book for children titled “Krunica – Ilustrirana radosna otajstva za djecu” by Anita Lovrić has also been released by the Ljubuški branch of HKD NapredaK. The author says the aim is “da ova slikovnica okupi obitelj na zajedničkoj molitvi krunice, ispuni domove radošću i potakne djecu i roditelje na rast u vjeri.” The book uses simple language, colourful illustrations by Ana Čilić and interactive colour‑in pages to introduce the rosary and the true meaning of Christmas to young readers.
