New culinary ventures open in Besançon and Park City

New culinary ventures are expanding in France and the United States. In Besançon, France, a refugee couple, Yangbum and Shelo, has opened Ramen et Momo, the first Tibetan restaurant in the Franche-Comté region. The establishment focuses on traditional recipes, featuring specialties such as momo (dumplings served with beef, chicken, or vegetarian fillings) and thupka, a traditional Tibetan noodle soup.

In Utah, the Salt Lake City-based restaurant Koyoté is expanding to Park City. Recently named a Michelin Recommended restaurant in the inaugural Michelin Guide Southwest, Koyoté is expected to open a new location in Kimball Junction this October. Co-owned by chef Hiro Tagai and Felipe Oliveira, the restaurant specializes in Japanese ramen and joins a growing number of Michelin-recognized dining options in the Park City area.
