New cultural museum and heritage events launched in Argentina
New cultural initiatives have been launched in Argentina, including the official presentation of the Museo Spósito in Baradero. Located on the Costanera, the museum preserves the history of the Spósito family and their connection to the region's sand and wood transport activities. A central exhibit features the remains of the ‘Tudesco’, a commercial vessel built in 1898 used by José Spósito for sand and firewood transport starting in 1905.
In Rosario, the Museo Estévez will host an event titled ‘Whiskies de acá’ on August 29. The experience aims to combine local heritage with the tasting of Argentine artisanal whisky. The event will feature Paso de las Piedras, a small-batch whisky produced in Carcarañá, Santa Fe, using organic corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley.
